The busiest day last Christmas was December 17, 2018, when posties delivered three million parcels on that one day.There will be 3700 extra staff, including 1500 more posties, hired over Christmas to cope with all the present deliveries.There are 11.9 million delivery points across Australia.More than 1.3 million parcels are delivered every day.Australia Post delivered 3 billion letters and parcels last year.
